Medicine and Surgery

The  study  plans  published  below  (and  the  credits  assigned  to  each discipline)  may  be  subject  to  changes  due  to  general  educational  requirements; approved plans can be found in the Student Guidebook, specific to each Degree Programme, and on the University website.

Students  of  Medicine  and  Surgery  are  required  to  attend  all  programmed  instructional  and  professionalising  activities  in  their  study  plan  to complete  360  ECTS;  as  a  rule,  60  ECTS  are  attained  each  year  with evaluation tests both for the courses and for other supplementary educational activities. Each course is awarded an equal number of credits for all students. The course assessment grade is given as a mark out of 30 (-/30) and it is based on the student’s aptitude and skill. The final examination for graduation is given out of 110.

Lo studente dovrà conseguire almeno 8 CFu per insegnamenti a scelta (Optional Project/Vertical domain) nei sei anni di corso.

Nel piano di studio è prevista la frequenza ai corsi di Teologia, per offrire una conoscenza motivata, ragionata e organica della fede cattolica.

Il programma, unico per le lauree triennali e per i primi tre anni della laurea magistrale a ciclo unico, si svolge nei tre anni in ragione di 3 ore settimanali per 12 settimane, articolandosi nelle tematiche seguenti:

✔ I anno: Questioni fondamentali: la fede cristologica e la scrittura;

✔ II anno: Questioni di antropologia teologica ed ecclesiologia;

✔ III anno: Questioni teologiche di etica e morale cristiana.

Per la laurea magistrale a ciclo unico, durante il biennio conclusivo è previsto un corso semestrale di 30 ore in forma seminariale e/o monografica, su tematica inerente il curriculum frequentato, che si concluderà con un colloquio o con la presentazione di una breve dissertazione scritta concordata con il docente.
